How do I handle my pets while my home is on the market?

Pets.HomeSelling

Tameka: It’s always best to remove them or crate them (or at the very least relegate the pets to one room) to improve the home touring experience for the buyer. Keep in mind, several people are allergic to animals or have small children that accompany them on the tour who are afraid of dogs/cats (this can make the tour an extremely unpleasant tour for the parents). Bottom-line: having pets present for the showing can be a huge distraction and at times can turn buyers completely off. Not all prospective buyers are pet lovers!
